How it started / How we make our notes
Our5Notes started pretty simply. I (Vihaan) began making my own notes for AP Human Geography Units 3 and 4, and after sharing them with my friends, they became something people could use to study. I continued making notes over the years for AP European History, AP World History, and AP Comparative Government. Making the notes also helped me understand the classes better myself. Eventually, I teamed up with Smit, and later Sanshray, to turn those notes into something beyond our own friend group—a resource where anyone can find simple, useful notes to study from. Our notes are initially made on paper, and we use AI to design the way people would want the notes to look like.
Verified by 4- and 5-scorers
Our5Notes is built by us students who have personally taken the AP courses featured on our website. As a group of juniors, we have earned 4s and 5s on every AP exam corresponding to our courses. For courses where a team member earned a 4, we also verify our notes and materials with students who earned a 5 to make sure the information is accurate and reliable.
